Travelling on a budget?

Then like me, you’ll always open up your preferred booking app/website and sort by prices low to high.

You then spend way too much finding the cheapest hostels in Europe. Country by country. Days later you forget what the low end of hostel prices are in each country. Frustrating.

To solve this for myself, I created this list of the most budget friendly hostel in every European country (51 total). Don’t argue with me on what countries are/aren’t in Europe, Google gave me a list which I used.

Note:

• Search was completed using Booking.com on 17th August 2017 (consistently same/cheaper prices than HostelWorld I found)
• This is based off hostels available for one person on the 23rd of August, 2017
• If two hostels were equal price wise, I chose highest rating hostel
• A minimum of 20 reviews on Booking.com was required
• If I fucked something up, I’m only human. meow.
• The list won’t be perfect as hostel prices in Europe can vary between seasons

The most thriving capital in the Baltic’s has a charming Old Town with lots of art nouvea architecture to be spotted. Located close to the seaside, there are several awesome day trips.

Backpacker Linde

City: Shaan

The town of Shaan is located in the centre of the small alpine country. They are close with their neighbours Switerzland, yet are usually overlooked as a premium winter sports destination.

Downtown Forest Hostel

City: Vilnius

Vilnius is a sneaky good city. Not quite as lively as Riga, the Lithuanian capital has plenty going for it in terms of its relaxed vibes, creative locals with unique offerings and nearby fairy tale, Trakai.

Hostel Youth Luxembourg City

Nicknamed the Gibraltar of the north, this city has epic views! As well as the usual historic features like elsewhere in Europe, pencil a visit in August for Schueberfouer, a massive two week funfair.

Unless you plan to have a sleepover with the Pope, you won’t be sleeping in the Vatican. As the cheapest hostel in Italy was in Rome, you can simply stay there. Great success.

• Highest Price: 185 euro in Monaco
• Least Original Name: Hostel San Marino…in San Marino
• Most Complicated Name: Campinghütte im SportErlebnisPark Allmersbach im Talin Germany
• Highest Rated: 9.4 at Le Gîte du Velay, France




• Lowest Rated: 5.1 at both Myaso Hostel, Moscow and Vienna Travel Masters, Austria
