Have you seen an egg cleansing on Christmas Day?
What about blue skies and scorching heat?
Thanks to Snapchat, we have access people around the world.
In the graphic below you’ll be able to discover how locals celebrate in the contrasting conditions of Canada and Australia, watch how orphans (expats) celebrate in China and more, live on Snapchat.
I asked these nine (including me) Snapchat travellers four questions:
- Where will you be celebrating Christmas?
- What’s the food you look forward to most at Christmas?
- What do you really hope Santa brings you this year?
- Any random Christmas traditions?
Check out their answers on the nifty infographic below (p.s. You’ll need to scroll down to catch their Christmas traditions).

- China doesn’t really celebrate Christmas unless you’re a Christian, and in that case you’ll go to church. A lot of young Chinese people go out to celebrate for dinner with friends. But the Beijing expat community does to a few fun things like Christmas markets, plated Christmas dinners and drink specials. I’ve been keeping my eye out of anything fun!

Merry Christmas Jub! And thank you for including me in your awesome post. I was actually enjoying Christmas dinner vicariously through most of these Holiday Snappers. However, Richelle gets the drool-worthy prize for her Roast Turkey, mashed potatoes and Pecan Pie eating Snaps.:D
Haha yea, that was pretty spectacular. I had mango sticky rice from a street cart and a Chang, so fancy 😉
